The Hideaway is a compact off-grid home created for customers who want to step away from crowded places and enjoy a more independent lifestyle. Its 320-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom layout provides the essentials for comfortable living while remaining efficient enough for remote and recreational properties. It is an excellent fit for weekend escapes, hunting land, lake properties, mountain retreats, vacation rentals and private cabins where low maintenance and a smaller footprint are valuable. Built from a 40-foot shipping container, the Hideaway is factory-manufactured inside Custom Container Living’s climate-controlled facility using strong steel construction and quality materials. Available off-grid systems, finishes and features can be selected to match the property, intended use and desired level of independence. Site conditions and utility alternatives vary significantly on remote projects, so CCL will review the proposed location and configuration before finalizing the home package. The starting price represents the home’s standard factory-built configuration as described in the purchase specifications. Selected upgrades, state-specific code or weather packages, delivery, installation, foundation, site preparation, permits, utility connections, taxes and other site-related expenses are not included unless specifically stated. Final pricing and production requirements will be confirmed after CCL reviews the project location and completed selections.

- Reservation expires if the construction agreement is not executed within five business days.
- If the agreement is not executed, CCL will refund the deposit.
- The 5% deposit is credited toward the first 25% contractual payment.
- Final payment includes approved change orders, customer additions, authorized material adjustments and other outstanding balances.
- Delivery will not be scheduled until final payment has cleared.
- Lender-funded projects may follow a written payment schedule approved by CCL and the lending institution.
- The executed construction agreement controls if its terms differ from this general schedule.

The 5% reservation deposit is fully refundable until the construction agreement is executed. If the construction agreement is not executed within five business days after the deposit is paid, the reservation will expire and CCL will refund the deposit to the original payment method, unless the customer and CCL agree in writing to extend the review period.
